InnerCity
InnerCity series is inspired by the collaboration of Jo Wood-Brown and Miriam Parker, InnerCity Projects. The works form the foundation for The Station.
The paintings reflect the kindred elements of multidisciplinary work. The paintings are as fluid as dancers in motion. The works are open-ended and express a potential for movement yet remained fixed to their framed edges.
The painted stills originate from the InnerCity Projects collaborative film, Incubatio. The painted imagery is a response to the documented footage.
