Journey

Journey is a series of paintings that explore the tension between journey and destination. They explore spatial and physical experience by using the materiality of paint that shifts between wax, glaze and wash. They attempt to create a dialog between issues of our current global climate and a place of free association leaving the narrative open to the viewer’s experience.

The paintings imagine one of the many possible journeys through Nomadic Structures, a proposed multi-media work by InnerCity Projects.
